ZTE, ASB to Provide IPTV Equipment for China Netcom

Beijing Netcom, a subsidiary of China Netcom, has selected ZTE and Alcatel Shanghai Bell as the equipment providers for its IPTV services, for which it has 50,000 subscribers. These two companies are expected to sign an agreement with Beijing Netcom during the next few weeks and network construction is expected to start soon after that.
